We are appalled at the new and recommenced surgery for FUS " perineal urethrostomy" for male cats! This terrible invasive surgery literally cuts off their penis! When Allopathic vets commercial diets don't work they quickly turn to this expensive and truly invasive surgery. King Ramses Suffered With Feline Urological Syndrome ( FUS) For Five Years..

Feline Urological Syndrome (FUS) :There is little doubt that F.U.S. is directly related to a cats' life style and diet. A nutritionally balanced raw diet has been proven over and over to prevent and stop this heart breaking disease.

Our 16 yr old, King Ramses, struggled with FUS (Feline Urological Syndrome) from 1994 to 1998. If anyone has a feline with this problem, they know the tremendous, expense, stress and discomfort that goes with it for both the cat and the caregiver. With complete joy, I can now announce that after feeding ONLY a balanced raw diet to King Ramses since 1996, he has not had any health or urinary problems what so ever. December 27, 2006, Dr Paulsen (our feline Ophthalmologist) said King Ramses blood work was excellent for cat of 16.5 years of age; good kidney, thyroid, liver and heart levels.

2008 Update. We lost our precious King Ramses from a cancer tumor on his liver. The grief this brings us is indescribable.

Lady Natascha 1989-2010

Our 17 year old female kitty, Lady Natascha had elevated thyroid levels on her blood work back in mid 1998 before I started her on a raw diet and Standard Process "Thytrophin PMG" from my vet Dr Gardner. After she was on a balanced raw diet for just three months her levels went down considerably. By the end of 1998 her levels went back to normal. Our girl has continued to eat ONLY a raw diet with NO thyroid issues again.

Lady Natascha is 16 years old...that is 80 years in our lifetime. Her kidney levels were slightly elevated on May of 2005, along with a slight cardiac problem. We now have her on extra supplements, besides her raw diet with My Natural Cat, prescribed by Dr Gardner; Standard Process Feline Cardiac& Feline Renal Support, along with Coz Q10 daily. After 30 days we had her rechecked. Her creatin (shows Kidney damage) levels went back to the high end of normal when they were above the high. Natascha's appetite has increased and her weight came back. Cardiac problems can also make a cat too nauseous to eat.

Dr Gardner has again brought our girl through another crisis. We just finished our first batch of Feline Instincts (My Natural Cat) this week (I ordered the small premix from you a few weeks ago). The cats were wary at first but now they practically lick the plate clean.

Our cat is doing just great on the raw diet. It took her less than a week to completely switch to it. My cat Mashka seems to like it - I mixed raw venison, chicken and turkey meats and the powder.

I heard about you on the internet, while doing my research on various diets for cats with digestion problems.... My cat is a Bengal, 2 years old. She had loose stool issue from the first day we got her. She also got inte the habit of going outside of her litter boxes (put 3). We tried switching her from one dry food to another, treated her for parasites and did various other test, tried canned limited diet food - nothing was helping the issue. That is when I started to do my own research online. I always was thinking about more natural food for a cat. I am from Russia and we didn't have any commercial food for animals then. We fed our cats fish and meats, raw mostly. Never ever I heard anyone complaining about their pet having a chronic diarrhea or other digestive issues.

After 2 days of using your mix and about 4 days of raw diet she already seems to be doing better - less frequent and loose stool; no cramping or pains at elimination; is more active;

One question - why adding fish to the diet is not recommended?

My two girls are as happy as can be. My older 15 yr old that was losing weight, and had already had an iodine treatment 3 yrs ago for thyroid, is blossoming. Firstly, I must thank you for offering such wonderful cat food. My cats have been eating a raw diet since January of this year, and they have improved tremendously. Kuzu, who was horribly afflicted with IBS had normal poo within 4 days of the new diet - better still, he is no longer bone-thin, having gained nearly 3 pounds in 9 months, and is on no medication or supplements. Ivan, who we tragically lost in May to cancer, improved drastically for a few months. He regained vitality we hadn't seen in ages, and his kidney function improved to the point where they were he was no longer considered to be in renal failure. While no food can cure cancer, we are convinced that the raw diet gave him extra time and extra life. In April we rescued 2 6-week old kitten sisters from the middle of the highway, eating sauce from a fast food bag. They were scared of the raw food at first, but came to love it. They were adopted to someone in May, and returned to us in June. After that we decided to keep them. It's exciting to see what will happen with their health as they age since they have been on the raw diet nearly their entire lives.

I came to your site through research for my 12 1/2 year old cat, Baxter. For the last year and a half he had been having pudding-like poops with blood and mucus and a couple months ago started to go outside the litter box. I was starting to go crazy trying to clean that up several times a week out of my carpet! I talked to my vet and they suggested switching food, which I tried...but just different kibble and canned food. No such luck. He got worse. I knew in my heart something was wrong. The last straw with my vet was when he told me Baxter was 'just a hard case.' That was it.

I called a friend who works at a vet clinic and had her ask her vet for suggestions. He had mentioned possible digestive issues so I went looking on the internet for info. "Wink" the 1 eyed cat has been doing well on this for the last year. He was a cat we adopted from 1 of the Vet Clinics I was working in about 7 years ago. Once he became a member of our family, he ruled!!

He has his off days, but with 2 dogs to deal with who doesn't!!! One is his buddy Max, a 3 1/2 year old lab we adopted when he was 1 yr. He now has a sister "Kat" a 6 month old lab x to teach all the ropes to!!!

I have been using your raw diet for about 3 months now and it’s going well. I wanted to share my storage procedure in case it is useful to anyone else. I researched glass containers that would stand up to freezing and came up with 4 oz jelly jars (available at the local hardware store). These will hold ½ cup of the raw diet mix. At feeding time I scoop out the thawed mixture into a shallow cereal type bowl, cover it with aluminum foil, and float the bowl in a mixing bowl of hot water. I find the aluminum foil is reusable for at least a week.

Following up to my second order: when I first found your site and mix, I saw the picture of one of your kitties licking the bowl. I thought, yeah, right. It’s been over a year since my last order. My two little furballs, Sheenah and Santos are still doing great and they just love their food. I tell everyone I know about the great benefits of the raw food diet and to check out your website if they have cats. I also have my vet now looking into it as she is just amazed how well the two cats are doing now.

Since last February there have been some new additions to our house. We added 2 dogs to our household! Loki in March 09, a Doberman / lg Hound mix who is about 16 months old now and a month ago we also adopted Stella, a 10 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Sheenah has gotten used to the dogs and knows how to behave around them, little Santos is pretty much a little scaredy cat and stays upstairs in his “dog free zone”. My mom asked me to write you to tell you my story. My mom and dad found me as a stray 5 years ago. Boy are they ever good to me! But, they had never had a cat before and they fed me nasty crunchy kibbles that made me SO thirsty. But, thank goodness that they let me outside like I was used to and I was able to catch an occasional baby bunny or mouse. YUM! Not to mention what fun they are to play with. I had bladder crystals a year ago and cost then $1200. And boy - was it ever painful! I never like drinking water, so I guess I paid the price.

Anyway....mom started learning about the alkaline diet for her and dad - and, when they started it they felt so much better, they lost weight, and they were healthier. Mom said that, since my sis, Megan the Bichon, died last year, she wanted me to be as healthy as I could be. Well, she started researching and found your website. Read it - TOTALLY! So, she bought your stuff, a powder mix and a little extra chicken liver powder, and then went to buy a nice mix of white and dark meat hormone free chicken and spends about 1/2 hour every 2 weeks or so making my new food. I didn't really like it at first and I went on STRIKE! But, mom is relentless and did not give in - so I had to eat it or go looking for lots more bunnies (who were much bigger now).

Well, the good news is that I have lost 4 of my 19 pounds, my hair is so soft and manageable that I could be calling a hair care company to make some extra money, and I no longer shed very much. Lucky for me because vacuuming was really hard for me to do. Now, I love this food. I really feel better - younger somehow. Your product is amazing. My cat "Josh" looked like he was on the brink of death. No matter what I fed him he threw it up and had non-stop diarrhea. The vet at first said he extreme weight loss was due to me not feeding him enough. They then realized after several visits that I was feeding him properly he was just not getting the nutrients that he needed. I then resorted to boiling chicken and rice but to no avail he was not able to keep it all down. I found your website by googling and read through the testimonies. Fairy is recovering fine and his bladder inflamation is going down now. The hepatic lipidosis is also reversing and his weight is stable and good. I can see such a difference in both with the raw diet, they are more alert, and it's as if that wild side of their characters shows in the way they move and ..I just know they feel more confident and tons better. I just want to thank you, thank you, thank you, for making the "Liv A Littles" freeze dried 100% chicken cat treats!! It really helped me transition my cats onto raw food. One of my cats has IBD, and the other is a dry food addict. I crush these treats up and sprinkle them onto the raw food and they eat it up now. I can not believe my dry food addict cat is eating raw!!! These treats are like gold to me!!!!!

My Kitty Reagan has really taken to the raw meat meals! However, I do believe it’s because of the chicken liver powder I’ve been sprinkling on it. I don’t believe she’d eat it if it didn’t have that sprinkled on it. So, yesterday, I ordered some from you. You have no idea how happy I am that my kitty is eating this food. At each meal, she’s eaten all of it except for a couple of times when she left less than a tsp. in the bowl. I am so proud of her!

Thank you for your wonderful raw meat diet.So far my cat stool form so well and he become more healthy thus gaining weight. Really sometimes it's quite hard to make food for him everyday if we were busy about our job, but i think it's worth to do for him continously. He likes your treats also!!

I am happy to report that all 3 of them are enthusiastically eating your diet! The youngest ate it immediately, the oldest took about a day and a half, and my middle girl took about a week of feeding the diet mixed with plain chopped up deer meat(starting with 50/50 and gradually working our way up to 100% natural cat diet which she thoroughly enjoys now). Thanks for all of your help in getting me going.
